Float Trips 2010

For those seeking that ultimate Alaska wilderness fishing adventure, we have the float trips. We fly into headwaters hundreds of miles from civilization, for exciting journeys down crystal blue rivers. Using SOTAR (State of the art raft) inflatable driftboats, we float through lonely alpine valleys, canyons, rolling tundra, and forested lowlands- sanctuaries of solitude, where man's world is but a dream.

Amazingly productive fishing for salmon, rainbow trout, charr and grayling is yours to enjoy at a leisurely pace as you serenely drift along, taking time to stop and fish "secret" holes, or stretch legs with a short hike to take pictures, view wildlife or just admire the magnificent surroundings. The trips are done with small groups (4-6 average, 8 people max), led by the best river guides in the business. Floating silently in rafts through the heart of these wild rivers allows for a much more intimate experience of Alaska's backcountry than is possible staying in a lodge or permanent tent camp.

Aniak River (second week of July to mid-September)

Scenic, remote western Alaska WILD river with variety of country & stream conditions. Great fishing for salmon, charr, grayling and rainbow trout, along with outstanding wildlife viewing opportunities.

Upper Nushagak River (August to mid-September)

A Headwater float down Bristol Bay's number one salmon-trout system for rainbow trout, charr, grayling and silver salmon. Perfect stream conditions for wade and cast angling, plus beautiful alpine scenery, wildlife viewing and hiking opportunities make for an outstanding trip!
